Based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia (Undang-undang) No. 16 of 2001 concerning foundations, Article 3 which reads (Foundations can carry out business activities to support the achievement of their goals and objectives by establishing a business entity and / or participating in a business entity). And article 7 paragraph (1) A foundation can establish a business entity whose activities are in accordance with the aims and objectives of the foundation. Paragraph (2) A foundation can make investments in various forms of prospective business provided that all such investments are at most 25% (twenty five percent) of the total value of the Foundation’s assets, therefore a PT. Indo Energi Lestari to support the activities of the Energi Lestari Foundation (Yayasan Energi Lestari).
